The details matter

Know what you are approving.

A useful quality conversation starts with a shared specification. Define the product, review it in hand and agree how the completed order will be checked.

Agree the product.

Record materials, dimensions, artwork, tile counts, accessory quantities and packaging. Distinguish the standard configuration from the changes requested for your project. Where a tolerance or special test matters, identify it before the quote is confirmed.

Review the sample.

Compare color, artwork detail, finish and fit against the agreed brief. Handle the tiles, try the accessories and check the complete packout. Document any correction before the final sample is approved.

Define the production check.

Agree the inspection scope, acceptance criteria and evidence required for the order. Check tile dimensions, matching artwork, color consistency, edge finish, full tile count, rack fit and packaging. Request inspection photos or a report tied to the actual order; a design rendering is not inspection evidence.

Agree how issues are handled.

Before ordering, confirm the reporting window and the process for damaged, missing or nonconforming pieces. Record the affected quantity, order reference and photos. Replacement, rework or other remedies must be agreed in the quotation; this preview does not publish a blanket warranty.

Keep a clear record.

Use the same product identifiers on the specification, packaging and order documents. Retain approval records and record any changes in writing. The delivered order can then be reviewed against a clear, agreed reference.
