A LITTLE CLARITY

Good questions.
Thoughtful answers.

From the first brief to the approved sample. Start with the things you want to know.

Ordering

Who is CX for?

CX is focused on American mahjong projects for brands, retailers, clubs and other trade buyers. Explore the collections, inquire directly about a design or outline a custom project to begin a purchasing conversation.

What is the minimum order?

Minimums depend on the product, design and level of customization. Share your planned quantity per design so the applicable minimum can be confirmed in the quote. Accessories and custom packaging may have different requirements.

Can I order tiles and accessories together?

You can include tiles, racks, pushers, mats and storage in the same project brief. List the quantities and required options for each item. The final quote confirms availability, compatibility and what is included.

Are the website images a complete specification?

No. Images show a collection or design direction. Use the product details as a starting point, then confirm the tile inventory, dimensions, materials, accessories and packaging in the written specification before ordering.

Customization

What can I personalize?

A project can explore tile artwork, colors, branding, coordinated accessories and packaging. Feasibility depends on the selected product and process. Include the changes you want in your brief so the scope can be reviewed together.

Can I begin without finished artwork?

Yes. Describe your idea and mark your artwork as in progress. References can help explain the direction. Production files and the final specification must be reviewed before custom sampling; any design assistance must be agreed separately.

Which artwork files should I prepare?

Share the files you have and identify the unique faces, the back design and any packaging artwork. Final file requirements depend on the process. The review should confirm format, dimensions, fonts, colors and fine detail before the sample is made.

Can I use my own brand or artwork?

Include your brand assets and artwork in the project brief, using only material you own or are authorized to use. Specify the placement and size of each mark. Any confidentiality arrangement should be agreed before sharing sensitive production files.

Samples

How do I request a sample?

Select the product or describe the configuration you want to review, then choose a sample request in your brief. The sample scope, fee, delivery cost and expected timing are confirmed for that project before it proceeds.

Is a sample free or credited to an order?

Sample charges and any later credit are project-specific. Do not assume a sample is free or refundable. The written sample quotation should state its cost, included items, shipping and any credit conditions.

What should I approve on a sample?

Check the tile inventory, artwork, colors, dimensions, finish and accessory fit against the agreed specification. Review packaging where included. Record requested changes clearly and keep the approved sample as a reference.

How long will sampling and production take?

Timing depends on the product, artwork readiness, materials, quantity and approval process. Sampling, production and freight are separate stages. Request a project schedule based on your desired arrival date; a requested date is not a delivery commitment.

Shipping

What information is needed for a delivery quote?

Provide the destination country and, when available, the postal code and delivery type. The quote also needs the final quantity and packout. Freight can be confirmed once the packed dimensions and weight are established.

Are freight, duties and taxes included?

Only when the written quote explicitly includes them. Ask for the delivery basis and included charges to be stated clearly. A product price should not be treated as the total delivered cost.

Can you work with my freight forwarder?

Include your preferred delivery arrangement in the brief. Collection location, packing, documentation, responsibilities and timing need to be agreed as part of the order.

What should I do when the shipment arrives?

Inspect the shipment against the agreed inventory and approved sample. Photograph damaged packaging and affected items, and record the product and quantity involved. Follow the inspection period and resolution process agreed in your order terms.
